In order to become a member, you will have to undergo a police clearance (this will be organised by us - you just need to show up).

The above is valid for patrolling as well as non-patrolling members.

All patrolling members must undergo training which we will organise for you.

Joining the Neighbourhood Watch is free — we do not charge a membership fee. However, we kindly ask members to consider making a voluntary contribution to help support our activities and cover operational costs. Your support helps us continue to make our community safer and stronger.

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to sign up:

Read the Constitution and Code of Conduct before proceeding.

Have a head and shoulder picture of yourself ready to be uploaded.

Fill in the form here.

Make a membership contribution here. Please use your name as a reference and send your proof of payment to milnerton.neighbourhoodwatch@gmail.com.

Organise for your fingerprints to be taken for a police clearance. We schedule regular fingerprint sessions for you to join. Please keep an eye on your e-mails to find out when the next session is.​​

​Attend the fingerprint session and ensure you bring the following documents:

You will receive a confirmation of your membership as soon as we have processed all documents and the police clearance.
